Forgiveness: The Other Half of Reconciliation

In this 10 week course we examine a range of biblical texts seeking
to find clarity on this important topic. We will consider the nature of
divine forgiveness as the prototype for our forgiving. We will attempt
to glean from the teachings of Jesus and the exhortations of Paul in
order to construct an effective model of biblical forgiveness. We will
also look at some of the more common misapplications of
forgiveness, and, finally, we will attempt to see how forgiveness
ought to work in the context of marriage, the church, and the world of
believers and unbelievers.
