What We Believe
This is a brief summary of our core doctrinal beliefs. If you would like an expanded version with Scripture references, please ask us.
. . . in the inspiration, authenticity, authority, and sufficiency of the Bible.
. . . that there is only one living and true God and that he has existed eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
. . . that man is born a sinner in need of salvation offered via the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
. . . that Satan is real and that he is the unholy god of this age but already defeated by the victorious resurrection of Christ.
. . . that God created all that is by the direct, sovereign act of his will in six days.
. . . that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, entirely apart from any good works on man’s part.
. . . that God instituted the church with Christ as its head for the propagation of the gospel and the building up of believers.
. . . in two ordinances for church practice—baptism and the Lord’s supper.
. . . that Jesus Christ will return bodily for his bride, the church, and will personally rule on earth for 1,000 years, followed by a final judgment on all unbelievers.
. . . that believers are to live out their lives in a manner that is worthy of the gospel so that God is glorified in their worship and witness.
