Our world talks a lot about love these days but is at a great loss when struggling to define it. How can a virtue so universally experienced be so diversely understood? Our text defines love as that which is sourced in God, modeled by God, and at the very core of His nature. Might we pray that God prepares our hearts to embrace the divine standard of love and to reciprocate God’s love toward Him, one another, and a broken world.
